Last weekend I was sitting with my sister in the dining room while planning decorations for a small family event. We wanted something eye catching but affordable and reusable. I was surprised to know how popular giant paper flowers have become for birthdays and weddings and photo backdrops. Especially we were thinking about size and color combinations and whether we should make them ourselves or buy ready made ones. We visited a nearby craft store but the available designs were limited and not very impressive.

Eventually my sister suggested that we should check online marketplaces to see more options. Therefore scrolling online marketplaces like alibaba and a few others I was amazed by the huge variety of giant paper flowers. Some were handmade with layered petals and some were machine cut with precise shapes. They came in many vibrant colors and different diameters and price ranges depending on paper quality and design complexity. I realized how many creative ideas we completely miss when relying only on local stores.
