Xbox 360 faceplate

I took the xbox apart,sprayed it,cleaned it,now I can’t get the front face place back on as the bottom clip hits the power button board,if I slide the clip under ita catching,it hits the metal shield. I’m actually losing it 😭I’ve already made a small scratch on the paint teying to get it off spmeone explain what I’m doing wrong
