Dune (1984) - Help Me Make Up My Mind Please

I am a big David Lynch fan, and also a dune fan - own both Dune 1 and Dune 2 in 4k. Im torn about Dune (1984) in 4k though. I know David Lynch had some quarrels about this movie, and seldom speaks highly about it himself. It also seems that the movie was a flop, and mostly disliked compared to liked. My question then, is the 4k release worth getting, does it look good? Also, is the Arrow Dune (1984) release the cut that Lynch wanted, or is this one aswell "corrupted"? Thanks for any help
