New watcher theory

So my fiancee is showing me once upon a time and I'm showing her farscape.

I understand that the characters are transported to our realm however I cannot shake the feeling that the cars are horses, mules, oxen, etc.

Please tell me how right (or wrong) I am 😎 I think about it every time I see a vehicle.
