Unsure what expedition I'm actually doing, doing steps of first expedition?

So I’ve obviously started expedition one before the first launch, when I compare on arc wiki like I needed 5 humidifiers now, can I still get 10 skill points by finishing one now with extra cash? But only 12 inventory space?
