Level 1 autism with no special interest?

Assessment Journey

I am not formally diagnosed, but I have most of the major signs except a special interest. I scored a 163 on the RAADS test, have intense sensory issues, deep disdain for eye contact, difficulty with social communication, etc. But I do not have a special interest.

It seems like most people think you can only have autism if you have a special interest. I was wondering if there's anyone here who does not?

I do get deeply invested in specific topics that eventually run their course and I move on to another thing. But nothing long-lasting.

For example, I was very interested in the Karen Read trial recently, and watched many videos on it, read news articles, watched different legal YouTubers' coverage of the same footage, etc. I will get interested in something and learn all about it, but then that goes away eventually. I'm also diagnosed ADHD, so I wonder if this has anything to do with it.

Anyway, would love to hear if anyone else here doesn't have a special interest.
