Samsung raising prices on external SSDs

I work at a brick-and-mortar electronics retailer. Yesterday I replaced the price labels on all the Samsung external SSDs. I estimate they were raised by ~$75 CAD per TB capacity. Some 4TB "rugged" ones are over $1000 CAD now.

I'm not involved with ordering stock, but considering how few of those we sell and how much space all the variants take on the wall, I would guess the new price was either set by Samsung or the store is compensating for a new cost to buy.
