Mower recommendations (N Alabama)

So I just moved from a .5 acre property where I was using a riding cub cadet mower, to a 1/4 acre property where the riding mower is totally overkill (and I don’t have room to store it anyway). Was planning on getting an Ego push mower because the idea of less maintenance is appealing (also I have an Ego string trimmer and I like it a lot). Something that’s concerning though is I see a lot of used Ego mowers on marketplace for pretty cheap (I would buy new) and that makes me think maybe they aren’t as reliable as I thought.

Those of you who have an Ego push mower, are you happy with it?

If those aren’t any good, I will go with a gas (please don’t recommend me a different electric mower, I don’t want to get into an additional battery platform), but now that Honda no longer makes gas mowers, which do you recommend?
