Considering buying a 2019 NX with 93k miles for 18.7. However, carfax reported moderate to severe damage

It should be noted that the damage happened under 10k miles and was then sold a year later. The vehicle has since been, from what I can tell, properly maintained by the next owner.

The dealership is allowing me to take the car to my mechanic for a PPI. I’m hoping that’s a good sign. I test drove the vehicle and there was nothing off from what I could tell. Really hoping the car isn’t a Leo .
