Shaders in a modpack working occasionally?

Does anyone know why shaders will only work on my curseforge modpacks OCCASIONALLY? i dowoaded a modpack, shaders worked, and then when i re-downloaded it about a month later (same version and everything) shaders didnt work.

Any ideas??
