Wifi randomly sucks every couple of months/weeks

Hello, I've been experiencing severely bad ping and internet problems every couple of months, I'll be playing a game and the ping skyrockets to a very high number for a minute and then it will go back down to normal and then it will go back up again after a few minutes. it got so bad to the point i bought a new router with wifi 7 and that fixed everything... for another couple of months. My motherboard supports wifi up to wifi 6. I have a sattelite/extender with an ethernet cable that I use that plugs into my pc, from my own testing, that KIND OF helps with better speeds but from what others say it doesnt do much and its not actual ethernet. Ive contacted my internet provider and they have shown up multiple times to try to fix this issue, and they do... then another few months pass and the same thing happens. Sometimes the issue resolves itself within a few weeks and for a few days, everything is fine and playable. I want everything that you guys can think of that can solve this issue. for even more information, I have an orbi 870 router.
