Looking for my first ereader! Looking for recommendations and personal experiences.
Hello! I love reading but due to the country that I live (expensive physical books), how much I read, my lifestyle (I spend half of my day in college and in public transport) and that I'm half blind (and progressing) and distraction from using my personal and work smartphone; I have decided to bite the bullet and buy myself and ereader.
My list of requests (and comments of what I have seen in recommended e-readers in my research) goes like this:
-Can download/have an app that have a integrated voice reader (I use TTS reader in my android phone, so when I'm distracted, not able to use my hands or too eye tired I can still read)
*So, ereader have to support headphones (i didn't see ereader with plug input, so maybe I'm asking too much? An Bluetooth headphones will not be my first choice because of battery durability but if it is, it is)
-A good battery durability.
-Can be used with email and allow download fanfics from ao3.
Semi optional:
- Colour? (I would love to read webtoons and manga, plus I can use it to take notes in class and my shoulders would love the less weight in my backpack)
And this is the requirement list for the device.
Plus if you can give my information (it doesn't have to be to buy but like tips) of stylus, cases (very important, due to travel in my backpack), other accessories (I have seen that exist a device that allows you to change pages without touching the screen and another you can put them in bed, like a tripod) and care. I will be very grateful.
Another doubt that I have; you can have an app that can synchronize the device with another ereader or your phone?
My plan is to use my phone to read in public transport (for stand usage and to not be stolen) but in the future I will buy another small ereader if I adapt myself to the big one (if it can be recommended one like that, lovely).
I have seen Kindles (I can't with the publicity and is rumoured in the near future to eliminate email function), Kobo (I don't know if there an voice reader app) and Onyx boox (I have seen reviews talking about low quality in colour editions and bad battery durability).
Pardon for my bad english and thank you!
