Best air purifier placement

Not sure if this is the best sub to ask but I’m looking for advice on where to best place my air purifier for my PC. As pictured it’s below so I wasn’t sure if I should try to place it below with the PC. However it’s not going to be right at the ventilation due to the cords and small amount of space. I’ve only had my pc for a month but my room gets a lot of dog hair so that’s the primary concern aside from just dust. Although my primary concern is my PC it would be nice to still have the air purifier for the rest of my room. Should I buy two and place one below my desk and another elsewhere? I have a levoit core 300-p air purifier.
