'just try believing'

was talking about being atheist to my friend at school, and some Christian in my class started telling me to 'just try believing'. tried explaining it was really tough leaving and I don't want to ever go back. he kept on pushing, and it really annoyed me. Christians just HAVE to get brownie points with their dictator, and then act hurt when people don't agree or listen when they force it upon others.
