LF beta reader Clair Obscur fic

Hi, I’m attempting my first fic within the Clair Obscur fandom. It doesn’t have warning tags yet and I have about 800 words. No title yet, but verso/gustave oriented. I’m hoping to find someone who’d like to read it and share their thoughts, maybe catch typos etc.

Here’s an extract:

Gustave wakes up holding his chest, and the feeling of sharp, salty basalt rock still imprinted on his cheek. The metallic scent of blood still lingering, the warmth of it pooling under him, spilling from his wound.

Maelle’s screams are ringing in his ears, and on his lips the last words he said to her “For those who come after, right?”.
