Weed addiction
I’ve been smoking weed every day since 2018, and for the past year I’ve been stuck in this cycle where I say I’m going to quit, manage a few days, then end up buying again. I always justify it because it helps me sleep and makes it easier to forget my problems, stress, and anxiety, but at the same time I feel like it’s slowly ruining my life. I’m less motivated, more disconnected, and constantly disappointed in myself for not being able to stop. When nighttime hits or I’m overwhelmed, my brain convinces me it’s not that serious, and I relapse. I’m tired of this loop and I genuinely want to quit for good. If you’ve smoked daily for years and managed to stop, what actually helped you get through the sleep issues, the cravings, and the urge to escape? I really don’t want to keep living like this.
