As our community here in r/StittsvilleON keeps growing, I’ve got some updates on how we’re running things. I want this to be a chill, helpful space for everyone in the suburb, so here’s the latest:

🛡️ Keeping it fair (No "Mod Dictators")

I’ve heard the grumbling on other city subs about moderators acting like they own the place. That’s not what we’re about.

• It’s a volunteer gig: I see this as a community service, not a power trip.
• Rotating the team: I’m planning to gradually take a step back from being the main "content guy" and moderator. I’d like to rotate the mod team every so often to keep things fresh.
• Who can help?: We’ll have some basic eligibility criteria (like how long you’ve been in the sub) to make sure everyone gets a fair shot at participating in how the sub is run.

I’ve reached out to Glen Gower to see if he’s down for an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session here.

• With all the 2026 roadwork and new developments, I'm sure we all have questions.
• If he’s game, I’ll post a sticky link with all the details as soon as I hear back.
