Patagonia Better Sweater vs Retro Pile sizing question (sleeve length concern)
I currently have a Better Sweater in size Large and the fit is good overall. The sleeves are actually pretty ideal — maybe even slightly long, but in a good way. The body length is a bit long though, and the shoulders are a little narrow for my taste.
I’m looking at getting a Retro Pile (also in Large). I actually want the shorter body length and boxier / wider shoulder fit — that part sounds perfect.
My only concern is sleeve length. For those who own both:
Are the sleeves noticeably shorter in the Retro Pile compared to the Better Sweater in the same size? Or just slightly?
Basically, if the Better Sweater sleeves are slightly long on me, would a Large Retro Pile still be safe?
Would appreciate any firsthand comparisons.
***I'm specifically talking about the Retro sweater in the picture, which also has the raglan sleeve construction that I like.
