WUWA’s storytelling change?

Throughout 1.0-2.8, I was confused throughout the story, maybe due to playing the game on and off throughout the week or just bad memory. Feels like they were just throwing new vocabulary, throwing loads of information at once, and giving you pieces in distorted order (ex. Lupa’s story, I had no idea what was going on). However, from 2.8 onwards, I could actually understand most of the story. Am I the only one who’s like this?
