Live plants with doves?

I'm assuming it would be okay since little fuckers can't do much damage, but I want to put a snake plant in her cage just for some greenery and so it doesn't look as sad. I want to get some extra advice on it, though, in case I, like, somehow poison my baby

(I don't care if the plant gets torn up)
