Am I tripping?!?!?

So I had a 4 🌟 portal with 3 unknown Pokémon and 2 was Marshtop and Swampert. I went and evolved my Mudkip amd them it showed 2 registered Pokémon at the portal being Krokorok and Krookodile. Did it change when I registered them or was it just a bug?
