Breville Bambino vs Delonghi Stilosa ec230 for a complete beginner [£400]
Hi, I'm looking to buy my first (potentially last?) machine and I'm having trouble deciding between the two I've listed in my title.
Honestly I am a complete beginner to coffee, I drink preground coffee from a french press and the occasional latte from cafes, wanting to upgrade mainly because I would like a more economical way to drink decent milk drinks. I've never really had proper espresso but I would be interested in getting into it.
With that in mind, I'm not sure whether the roughly 200 pound difference between the bambino and stilosa is worth it.
For someone who doesn't already have a refined palate for espresso, does it make sense to spend the extra money? What differences in taste would I be expected to notice (especially when milk is probably being added)?
I would be pairing the machine with the kingrinder k6 if that helps, no other upgrades or accessories probably.
Thank you in advance to anyone replying lol
