Deca ICDC written advice

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for placing at ICDC this year? My event is PMBS. My group barely qualified for nationals. Yet now I have my goals set on placing at ATL this year. I have a considerable amount of free time as a senior. I was looking into getting a mentor, but as prices are expensive, I’m looking for some alternatives But I genuinely really want to do something with this project. if you placed before what is the biggest thing you recommend? Genuinely do not want to go to just be there.!!!
