I just beat Emerald for the first time ever

My first ever Pokemon game was Ruby, which I never completed (I was far too young), and I recently have been playing Emerald. I defeated the Pokemon League tonight and I wanted to talk about the Wallace fight…

It was far and away the easiest battle of all 5 for me, even though I was totally under levelled . I literally just set up on his Wailord with my Gardevoir; double team twice, then calm mind whenever Wailord missed, and full restoring whenever he landed a hit. I then just double teamed 4 extra times for good measure, and then used Psychic & Thunderbolt to OHKO Wallace’s entire team.

Maybe full restoring 3 times to set up might be seen as cheesy (I didn’t think so), however I was just surprised how easily Wailord allowed me to set up for the sweep.

So yeah, glad to have finally beaten an original gen 3 game, and Wallace was easy. Not sure what to do in the postgame now though…
