Need advice on licensing

New to 3d printing world and recently bought a bambu lab p1s printer. I've been printing things off the app other peoples models for myself and friends. However some of my friends are insisting on paying for the items I am printing for them that are under a NC licensing. They feel as if they need to pay me for my time and filament. However I have been reading up on the NC licensing and trying to follow the rules on that but not sure what to do when they insist on paying me. Not trying to make a buck or start a store just sharing joy of printing stuff for friends. How should I proceed though?
