Is Kelo-Cote Silicone Gel safe to use on Inner skin scar tissue?

I have two vertical scars on my inner skin. One is to the right of where the frenulum is. The other is directly in the top side center pulling the glans down. It’s a low and tight cut and my erections are restricted. T-tape is slowly growing skin anyways but I just bought this silicone gel and want to know if it’s safe for inner skin. The box says avoid direct contact with mucous membranes. I didn’t see that part before purchasing
