Internet Girl is not as bad as people make it seem

This might be a hot take but Internet Girl is honestly not that bad of a song. I’ve seen people call it “unlistenable” which is just a lie.

Internet Girl is catchy and fun, sure, the “I’m getting out of here” in a baby voice is very off putting but the actual verses of the song have pretty listenable lyrics and a decent tune. The chorus might not make that much sense but it’s still catchy.

I’d argue that Gnarly’s lyrics were so much worse so to say that Gnarly is better than Internet Girl is crazy. They’re both songs that aren’t meant to be taken too seriously. Do the girls deserve better songs? 100% but Internet Girl is not the worst song ever made and does not deserve the hate that it gets.
