Starting to lose interest

Hey guys.

So ive made it to season 5 so far but like title says, started to lose interest. One of the reasons is that i feel like they keep introducing new characters that i dont really care for or dont add to the main plot. Fot example the latest on was mr gentle and la brava. Even though it was just couple ep only, they fill like just filler episodes.

The action fights are top notch buttt very far in between it feels.

Will the rest of the seasons follow thisnpattern?

Ive read that the latest or final season is one of the best anime lately.
