Is upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy S22 to an iPhone 16e a good idea?

Hey guys!

My S22 has just died and I'm pretty bummed about it. I also wasn't planning on buying a new phone anytime soon, so my budget for this purchase is pretty limited - hence why I'm currently stuck between getting an iPhone 15 or an iPhone 16e.

The thing that's getting to me is all the talk about the camera on the 16e. A huge part of my job involves recording videos (most of them using the front camera), and I don't want to feel like I've downgraded the quality of my content. Thing is, as long as the 16e's cameras are even slightly better than the ones on the S22, I'll be more than happy with it. I was already satisfied with the quality that I had before my phone commited S word.

So I guess my question is: will I be disappointed with the iPhone 16e's camera quality coming from the S22? Because it wins over the iPhone 15 on the only other aspect that matters to me which is battery. Both phones are within the price range that I can afford, so I'm really just trying to decide.
