Problems with sea sweetheart lace top

I'm either VERY DUMB and if so forgive me, I returned to the game after 2 years, and I got the top from the mermaid shop but when I put it on it looks... weird? Like I can't use it to the full potential cause the roblox outfit will be always in the way (and if u take it off it's this default undergarment thing)? So I'm either doing something very wrong or dumb or both 🫠
