Birthday gift for my mum who lost her brother a week ago.
My uncle died a week ago today, the private viewing for immediate family falls on my mum's birthday. The actual funeral is 2 days later. He passed from cancer, my mum also had cancer 6 years ago and she found out she had cancer on her birthday as well. So her birthday is a bit shit.
She's not into massages or any of the typical things women love. She does enjoy incense in the house, she'll use perfume or makeup or intimate things like that. She's particularly fussy, she's an incredibly fussy eater so taking her for a meal feels difficult. Flowers die, I already know my sister and dad are getting her a canvas made up for home of her brother.
She doesn't leave the house, she's quite the introvert, she doesn't read or use computers or have any hobbies. Her 60th was last year and I gave her a hamper full of her favourite things for that already. I wouldn't usually go big for her birthday but I just want to make her feel a little better due to the circumstances.
I don't have a huge budget. Maybe $150 max.
Any ideas for someone who's very challenging to buy for and already has everything?
