Sal Da Vinci wins Sanremo 2026 🇮🇹🏆

After five nights at the Teatro Ariston, Sal Da Vinci has won the 76th Festival di Sanremo with a classic Italian ballad that combined strong vocal delivery with orchestral intensity. It was a competitive year, but he managed to stay consistently high across the week and secured the victory in the final ranking.

How the voting worked:

Sanremo’s results are built progressively over the five evenings:

	•	Press Jury (Sala Stampa, TV e Web)

	•	Radio Jury (Giuria delle Radio)

	•	Public Televote (Televoto)

Each night contributes a percentage to the overall standings. By the final night, all previous votes are combined to determine the Top 5.

In the final phase, voting is reopened for the Top 5 only. There are no new performances — just recap clips. The winner is decided through a combined split of:

	•	34% Televote

	•	33% Press Jury

	•	33% Radio Jury

Sal Da Vinci performed earlier in the evening like all other finalists, and his cumulative score across the week — plus the final Top 5 vote — placed him first overall.

As tradition goes, he now has the right of first refusal to represent Italy at Eurovision 2026.
