Resurrected bounty hunter killed fighter

I’m playing through act one with a necromancer and a fighter. I had a bounty placed in my fighter. I killed the next bounty hunter I saw and used necromancers “eternal servitude” on it to resurrect it and have it join my team. The next fight goes well and the it shoots at enemies. The next fight I enter, the resurrected bounty hunter starts shooting my fighter at low hp, killing it before I am able to kill the bounty hunter. Is this a glitch? Or does the bounty hunter still try to kill the cat when it is resurrected
