Help with character for ubers.

Hey I could use a little guidance. I'm relatively old and appreciate a low APM character. Right now I'm playing Abyss Lock on ladder with about 10 to skills and mid positive resists. Can I handle Ubers with him?

Should I respec to Echoing Strike, how is the playstyle for APM and general chill gameplay?

Or should I just make a Paladin that is dedicated to Ubers?
