Bugrock glitch?

Playing bedrock Minecraft new world with my friend the other day and within the span of 15 minutes 6 charged creepers spawned, within 1 day, no storm. 2 were in pairs and 2 were individual spawning, 1 was in a different location and the other 5 kept spawning in the same place once the others were killed. We were cracking up because wtf!? Is this statistically possible?
