(Each page shown comes from a different chapter of my story. I haven't posted them anywhere yet since I want to have a good amount of chapters to fall on if I ever need a break.)

Hey all! I'm Gab! This is my first post to this subreddit, and I have a question to ask if anyone is interested.

What descriptor of storytelling does my artwork represent more? Manga, or comics?

When talking to people about it, I default to calling it a comic since it goes under the western format of reading left to right, and isn't exactly colored or screen toned like a traditional manga. However, I feel like when I say comic, people's brains go to things like Marvel, DC, or more cartoon-ish artstyles. I'm definitely inspired by manga and anime, though I'm not sure if I should be calling it such. 😅

Would love to hear your guys' input!
