Do I really enjoy Street Fighter?
Street Fighter 6 is the first fighting game that I've really actually tried learning, and I've been enjoying it... I think. I've taken some big breaks from it because I've gotten really frustrated with the learning curve, because as with every super technical thing, once I learn one thing, a new and interesting thing comes along to be a thorn in my side.
I kinda want to just open up a conversation of what it is that everyone enjoys about the game, because I fear I may have lost sight of it. I'm not a particularly good player, I peaked at around Plat 3 on Marisa, and have since gone on to try other characters, but all I've run into is frustration.
I'm at a point where losing is frustrating and winning feels more like a relief that I didn't lose rather than a celebration that I prevailed. I suppose I may be just be looking for a mental reset. It may seem silly since it's just a video game and therefore not at all serious, but I really would like to find a way back to the fun I was having in the early days of picking this game up.
