The entity is strangely nice

Im doing my second run of the game with Mystic and Street Smart, I'm currently at the Charlie puppet show and it just hit me how weirdly chill the entity is.

With Wayne, I chalked it up to the original Wayne's personality leaking through along with it trying to manipulate and prime the PC to be its next vessel. But with Charlie, it gave him genuinely good advice with seemingly no ulterior motives.

Does the entity hate being imprisoned so much that that hate even extends to other people? Was it just trying to spite Sybil because it knew she was helping out Charlie? Or was it just fucking with him?
