Uhh... Anyone who knows about real fur? This piece looks like... A cat's fur?
Am I crazy to think this? https://www.instagram.com/p/DL4ZeYFtL3T
I don't have intentions to buy at all - I only thrift real fur items. But I can say that I have moderate experience with real fur so seeing this kinda... Surprised me? I'm genuinely curious.
This DOES NOT look like coyote fur to me. To start, since when are coyotes spotted?? Since when are they this dark colored with distinguished white parts, and without any orange? Can it be just a print? I'm leaning towards it being a print but the hell, it looks nothing like a coyote.
I know that cat and dog fur have been spotted out in the industry being labeled as other common fur types before, but like, this can't really be a cat, can it? I believe if it really was something other than a coyote, it'd be obvious to anyone who works with fur so I struggle to believe that they would be selling cat fur or anything like that. Is this a type of coyote or something similar that I don't know about?
