Iron Transfusions ??

I went to get checked a couple days ago and they found my irons dropped really low & they want to do an iron infusion but i’ve heard the side effects are really bad?

Just wondering if anyone else has had one and if they’re as bad as some people say they are?

I used to be anaemic and was given supplements but they didn’t agree with my body and I had A LOT of pretty bad side effects and was told to stop taking them as they were symptoms of overload, I don’t know if that affects how my body would react to an infusion, should I let them know that happened before they do it?

I also had protein & leukocytes I think they’re called in my urine but they didn’t comment on that so should I assume that’s fine, or could it be linked to being anaemic?
