If taking someone’s labor without consent is slavery, and taking someone’s virginity, without consent is rape, philosophically speaking, what would make taxation without consent of the individual anything other than theft?
I pay my taxes every year not because I consent, but because they would throw me in jail if I did not. I don’t see this as anything other than theft.
