why did my ex text me this foolishness

broke up with me 3 months ago… too uncertain creating a life together. he reached out and sent me two messages giving me study advice because he saw the notes i was making on our shared workspace. ended the message with “that’s just my two cents what do i actually know”…. this comes after 3 weeks no contact after he said he didn’t have it in him/wasn’t feeling well when i asked if we could facetime to catch up.
