Microsoft: from CSA to Software Eng

Hello everyone!

I just had my Cloud Solution Architect int and I passed it. Now to be fair, I don't relate to the role that much to be so enthusiastic about this, but the thought of joining Microsoft seems really cool to me, it was one of my earliest goals. Now what I want to ask is if someone has been in my situation, is it possible to change roles and become a Software Engineer while working there as CSA before? I have a more technical background and client facing roles aren't really my thing, so I was wondering if it is worth the stress. What would you do in my situation?
