“The Final Puzzle” RE9

Hey guys,

Currently on my second RE9 playthrough and I noticed something, yesterday during my first playthrough I could discard The Girls hand after doing the blood analysis, but now on my second I cannot, could this indicate there are things you have to do beforehand to continue the puzzle that I may have done accidentally?
