interesting sightings regarding playthroughs following the initial one (REQUIEM, SPOILER FREE)

when doing a second playthrough (new playthrough standard modern), ive noticed that leon has his new shop mechanic available since the beginning of the game, which lets be honest is very anticlimatic and kinda disrupts the story/atmospherical flow of the game before raccoon city. i also think grace starts getting more requiem ammo, at one point i was running around with 13 rounds while having fired like 6 before. normally i could assume i used them more sparingly, but leon was getting visibly more. could this mean a possible ng+ type update? how would this even work?
