Mediterranean Diet

Is anyone on here doing the med diet for fatty liver whilst on wegovy? GI wanting me to go on Wegovy to target liver scarring as it is good for that.

Background: I tried mounjaro for 3 weeks about 5 months back and had the worst gastro like symptoms I’ve ever had - so much so I could function for 48 hours x 3. I was eating poorly at the time but seemed to be triggered by large meals.

I’m now eating 2200 calories a day without meds, but the med diet does have reasonable side meals just low calories (protein and fiber mostly). Just can’t deal with that side effect even if people find it’s common even with a clean med diet.
