Marks that take years to go away on my legs

I’m 23 and have no medical or circulatory conditions

Every time I get a scrape, scratch or bruise on my leg, it will heal and then leave a purple or dark mark that takes years to heal. My arms and upper body heal quickly with no long term mark.

I slipped and scraped a layer of skin on my shin off in June 2025 and there’s still a mark the size of the scrape that’s just not going away.

I am going to see a dermatologist but I’m curious if anyone has a similar problem or if theres a simple solution that I haven’t thought of.

I have always had this problem but it’s definitely worse now than it was in my teens.
