Ectopic pregnancy, MTX day 3 - looking for experiences and success stories

Hello,

I’m around 7 weeks and a few days from my last menstrual period and have been diagnosed with a tubal ectopic pregnancy.

My initial beta-hCG was around 800–900. I received a single intramuscular dose of methotrexate and I’m currently hospitalized for monitoring. I’m now on day 3 after the injection and, so far, I have no pain, no vaginal bleeding, and no significant side effects.

My beta-hCG will be checked again on day 4 and then on day 7.

For those who have been through this:

– Is it normal to feel nothing in the first 2–3 days after the injection?

– When did bleeding start for you?

– Did you experience mild cramps or more intense pain?

– How much did your beta drop between day 4 and day 7?

– Did it resolve with a single dose?

– Have there been cases where the ectopic pregnancy fully resolved/reabsorbed successfully with methotrexate?
