“No Hagakure, I can’t SEE you but…I can hear you.”

Ever since they’d learned that Midoriya was completely blind, in spite of his assurances that he was perfectly capable of getting around on his own, his classmates couldn’t help but keep an eye on him whenever they went anywhere.

Just seeing him go up and down stairs on his own was a mixed experience of tense nervousness, and amazement.

It wasn’t until one evening as they were all in their costumes, but waiting around for their instructor for the day, something occurred to one of them.

“Hey Midoriya, how detailed is your hearing? I mean, can you tell what we look like without touching us?”

“For the most part. I can tell what you look like, to what your costumes look like, but I have to really focus to spot details. For the most part, I just can’t see colors. I’ve never seen colors to know how to describe them, but it’s like everything is simply gray, with no shadows.”

“Oh, interesting.” Ochaco said as she tried it imagine that.

“Wait a minute, hold on.” Toru Hagakure suddenly spoke up, sounding nervous, “Can you see me?!”

This brought everything to a stop as everyone suddenly became aware that Toru seemed to be nothing but a pair of floating gloves and boots, because that was literally all she was wearing. All eyes slowly turned to Izuku, who seemed oddly calm.

“No, Hagakure, I can’t SEE you, but I can hear you. Why?” He replied surprisingly nonchalantly.

They all saw her hands ball into fists, and her voice shake as she said, “You can…see me…this whole time?”

Izuku looked confused. “Yes, can’t everyone?”

“Dude, you don’t know she’s invisible?” Kaminari asked with a grin, “What do you think she’s wearing right now?”

“I assume a body glove, something thin, but sturdy for protection and easy, free movement. Possibly the same material Midnight wears.”

The classmates exchanged looks. Then Denki decided to say it.

“She’s naked.”

Izuku’s eyes went wide and he suddenly blushed bright red, “HAGAKURE I SWEAR I WASN’T LISTENING THAT HARD!!!”

“YOU PERVERT YOU COULD SEE ME THIS WHOLE TIME!!!” Toru rushed him, but Aizawa’s capture cloth snapped out of nowhere, and she was suddenly wrapped up like a mummy.

“What’s going on here?” Their teacher asked impatiently, glaring at them all in turn.

Izuku was facing away from everyone, covering his still blushing face, while Toru was too angry to speak coherently.

“Apparently, Midoriya can see Hagakure.” Yaoyorozu said, as the first one to speak up.

Aizawa sighed, shaking his head.

“Well either go get dressed or get over it. We’re starting your training now, and if I have to separate you two, you’ll both be running laps barefoot for the rest of the day.”
