[38/M] Looking for simple conversation to quiet my mind

Hi I'm David. I never know what to say here. I can offer you lots of dad jokes and random facts. Oh and I never ghost, I might be slow to respond because I have a three year old son that takes my focus. Unfortunately people have not understood this in the past and got upset when I took twenty minutes to reply.

I'm a horror writer. I have a few published stories and currently working on a novel

I collect hobbies. I'll start a new hobby and hit it hard for a few months until I find something new to do. Some of my past hobbies include crochet, knit, cross stitch, needle point, gardening, watercolor painting, wood carving, model building, model railroading.

I'm a open book so you can ask me anything. Bonus points for questions I have never been asked before.

As for who I'm looking for. Fun and/or interesting people. Age and gender don't matter. Just be willing to hold a conversation. And if you are think "I'm not interesting" I can promise that you are more interesting than you think.
